Add items to a shared album

In the Photos app on your Mac, click a shared album under Shared Albums in the sidebar.
Click "Add together photos and videos."
Select the photos, video clips, and Live Photos that you want, then click Add.

Photos removes the items from the shared album, but leaves the original items in your library.

Important: If you delete photos or videos that others added to the shared album, you won't accept copies of them in your library. If you want to continue these items, download them from the shared album before deleting them.

Edit a photo in an album shared by others

To edit a photo or video in an album someone else shared with you lot, you lot must first import the photo into your library. You lot tin and so edit it as you would any other photo. Edits you make to the photo in your library don't change the original photo in the shared album.

In the Photos app on your Mac, click a shared album nether Shared Albums in the sidebar.
Navigate to the photo yous want to edit, double-click information technology, then click Edit.
